We are seeking a contract (freelance) Web Development Associate. This person will be responsible for (i) designing, producing and maintaining various styles of websites, (ii) designing and creating newsletters and other HTML communications. This position is very detail-oriented and requires extensive teamwork among both technical and non-technical personnel. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines a must.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of HTML, PHP and CSS
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript a plus
  • Experience with Java, JSP, Perl, SQL (other server-side technologies) a plus
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser and platform coding requirements in HTML
  • Graphic design experience and knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator a plus
  • High attention to detail / ability to check and test own work
  • Good communications skills, strong sense of accountability and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple clients and projects
